THE BRIEF
Mi casa es su casa! For the people at Casa, nothing is more important than your home. Casa sells home decor items ranging from lighting fixtures, to cosy sofas, to that perfect painting to hand in your living room.
They frequently work with influencers and have many brand ambassadors. They are now looking to create a new brand identity that differentiates them from their competitors.
THE PROCESS
THE LOGO
Before beginning this brand identity project it was important to understand who is Casa’s ideal client. The company works with influencers and brand ambassadors to reach their target audience. Once I determined who Casa was reaching towards, I could look at what was happening in their industry, how their industry was reaching this client population, and what direction we could take this identity to speak to the goals of Casa.
The logo began with customizing a font that evoked a feeling of comfort and friendliness. The letters “a” and “s” were joined together to create that connection that Casa is looking for in their brand identity; like a couple sitting on the couch enjoying each other’s company.
The logo mark was fashioned after a window with the sun shining in. This furthers the homey, warm, comfort of the brand’s products.
THE COLOR PALETTE
The earthy color palette was chosen to bring a calm and inviting vibe. The colors are aligned with the age, interests, and aesthetics that the target market is familiar with and enjoys.
It sets the tone of a more minimal yet comfortable feel for home decor.
BRAND ASSETS
Assets are important to carry the brand message and identity into a business’s marketing efforts. The assets can include print and digital marketing materials. Storefronts, packaging, and other items that the consumer will interact with are wonderful ways to further the brand identity.
