THE BRIEF
In Nutty is for vegan, lactose intolerant, or just dairy dislikers. It is the best new alternative milk brand in the nutty specialties of plant-based milk including milk from nuts, fruit, and grains.
The name is a play on “nuddy,” which means naked. This reflects their raw, real products.
THE PROCESS
LOGO
The logo for Nutty had to be fun, bold, and a little “off” to reflect the raw nature of the brand personaility. Creating a logo with a custom font that mixes upper and lowercase letters gives it the fun and nutty vibe the brand is known for. Using the descender of the “y” as a branch with a “live” leaf” is a nod to the natural, raw ingredients of the milk.
Parents and children are the brand’s demographic making it a must to insert a playful feel. Their commitment to wholesome, raw ingredients is intentional to their demographic.
COLOR PALETTE
The color palette was chosen as a fun, light-hearted representation of the ingredients. The green conveys a natural, earthy feel. The pink and blue reflect the use of fruits in the milk. While the yellow is symbolic grains.
The pastel hue is an appeal to the target demographic.
ILLUSTRATIONS & PACKAGING
Fun, character illustrations were created for marketing. The packaging reflects the ingredients of each alternative milk in the product line.
