Surplus Recovery Agency is a new brand for a couple of seasoned entrepreneurs. The brand’s mission is to turn a negative life experience into a positive future for its clients. The brand brings hope to people after the foreclosure of their home by recovering any surplus that was gained from the sale of the property.
The brand values honesty, integrity, compassion, and exceptional customer service.
THE PROCESS
LOGO
The logo design for SRA began with the brand’s mission to turn the negative experience of home foreclosure into a positive future their clients can imagine. This mission is the inspiration for the negative space logo.
The three variations of the logo allow SRA to utilize the logo in all of their applications including; websites, business cards, and other business assets.
BRAND COLORS
The brand colors were chosen to help SRA to stand out in their niche. The colors are a vibrant representation of the brand’s values. Blue is the color of trust, dependability, and fiscal responsibility. Green is the color of hope, renewal, and finances. Gold is perceived as the color of success, joy, optimism, and financial stability. Communicating the right message in the financial industry is important. The psychology of these colors is a deliberate choice to help customers view the brand for the values they represent.
TYPOGRAPHY
Gotham is a sans-serif font with clean, clear lines. The font was inspired by the architectural signs of the mid-century. This nod to architecture is a reminder that great things can still be built in the lives of SRA’s clients despite their recent foreclosure. The clean lines are a reminder that the future is bright with possibility. The font is functional, unfussy, and highly legible giving it a trustworthy appearance. Nothing is hidden in this brand.
