Zesty’s mission is to empower home cooks, aspiring chefs, and flavor explorers to expand their culinary horizons, experiment with new recipes, and create a memorable dining experience.

THE PROCESS
Logo
Everything about the Zesty brand communicates adventure, so we knew we had to create a logo suite that brought a sense of adventure. A custom wordmark with italic bold lettering brings a sense of boldness and movement to the brand.
The brand illustrations are inspired by vintage travel stamps further highlighting the exotic and worldwide ingredients used in their products.
BRAND COLORS
The brand colors were chosen for their vibrancy, global appeal, warmth, and energy. Each color represents a value or characteristic of the spices that they represent.
TYPOGRAPHY
Cubano Sharp Italic was customized to create the wordmark for the Zesty Logo. The type is a sans-serif typeface. It features heavy strokes and soft, rounded corners to give it a friendly feel. The primary type used is Cubano, also leading to the comfort and friendly feel. Used in its italic form, the font seems to be on the move. The secondary font is Thonburi, a clean sans-serif font used for easy readability. When you are on the move, you want to make sure you can find your way to your destination. The paring of these fonts rounds out the vintage inspiration of the brand.
